Crew Member

$18–$22/hr + tips · W-2 · Quad Cities

Part-time & full-time · weekends common

Load, unload, pad, and stage household goods with a small crew. Truck is provided by the customer — you bring the technique and the muscle.

What you'll do

  • Load and unload trucks, PODs, U-Hauls, and storage units with care and speed.
  • Pad, wrap, and stage furniture so nothing shifts or scuffs in transit.
  • Follow the crew lead's load plan and communicate weight and access issues early.
  • Use straps, dollies, sliders, and stair techniques safely on every job.
  • Greet the customer, keep the walkway clean, and leave the space better than you found it.
  • Clock in and out on every job phase and file any incident before leaving site.

What we need from you

  • 18 or older with a valid ID and eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Able to lift 75 lb safely and repeatedly across a 2–8 hour shift.
  • Reliable transportation to the meet-up point and a working phone.
  • Clean, professional presentation with customers.
  • Willing to complete a background check; drug screen where the client requires.

Nice to have

  • Prior moving, warehouse, delivery, or physical trade experience.
  • Experience padding and wrapping high-value furniture.

Crew Lead

$24–$30/hr + tips · W-2 · Quad Cities

Full-time preferred · weekends required

Run the job from meet-up to close-out. Own the load plan, the customer relationship, and the crew's pace and safety on site.

What you'll do

  • Confirm the job details with dispatch and lead the pre-move walkthrough.
  • Build the load plan: weight distribution, fragile placement, access routing.
  • Direct the crew, keep the pace, and step in on the heavy or awkward pieces.
  • Own customer communication on site: expectations, timing, and change orders.
  • Complete before / during / after photos and any incident reports before leaving.
  • Close out the job in the app — final hours, add-ons, and customer sign-off.

What we need from you

  • 21 or older with a valid driver's license and clean-enough MVR.
  • 12+ months professional moving experience OR proven crew leadership in a physical trade.
  • Able to lift 75 lb safely; able to be on your feet 8+ hours.
  • Comfortable running a 2–4 person crew and having direct conversations with customers.
  • Reliable transportation, working phone, and calm under pressure.
  • Willing to complete a background check and drug screen.

Nice to have

  • Experience with PODs, ABF, and interstate load-outs.
  • Piano, gun safe, or specialty item experience.
