Loading help
We load your rental truck so nothing shifts on the road.
You rent the U-Haul, Penske, Budget, or personal truck. Our crew arrives with pads, straps, and a plan to pack it tight — the same way we’d pack our own.
What's included at the hourly rate
Load plan on arrival
The crew lead walks the space and stages heavy first, fragile last.
Pad-wrap furniture
Blankets and shrink wrap on dressers, tables, headboards, and appliances.
Tie-down every tier
Straps at every tier so the load holds through highway miles.
Photo documentation
Before-and-after photos of the load stored in your account.
Best for
- Cross-town moves where you’re driving the truck
- Long-distance moves where a friend is driving
- PODS and U-Pack containers that need to travel loaded
- Storage runs after a downsizing weekend
Not included
- The truck itself — you reserve and pick up your rental
- Driving the truck once loaded
- Fuel, insurance, or rental damage waivers
Crew-size guidance
Studios and one-bedrooms usually need two movers. Two-bedroom homes with stairs move faster with three. Three-bedroom+ homes and 26-foot trucks usually take four.
The booking wizard recommends a crew size based on rooms, stairs, and heavy items. Anything unusual is reviewed by dispatch before your card is charged.
Frequently asked
- Do you drive the truck?
- No. River Bend Moving Labor provides loading and unloading labor only. The customer is responsible for driving the truck.
- What if the truck is bigger than expected?
- Not a problem — the crew adapts. If a change in scope means more time than the estimate, the lead will explain before continuing.
- Do you supply blankets and straps?
- Yes. Our crews bring moving blankets, hand trucks, appliance dollies, and tie-down straps as part of the hourly rate.
