What are hourly movers?
Hourly movers — also called labor-only movers or moving labor — are a crew you book by the hour to do the physical work of a move. They wrap and carry furniture, stack boxes, load and unload, and reassemble beds and tables. What they do not do is drive: the truck, trailer, or portable container is yours.
That is the whole difference between hourly moving help and a traditional van line. A full-service mover quotes one price that bundles transportation, fuel, mileage, and labor together. Hourly labor movers unbundle it, so you rent the equipment at rental prices and pay a crew only for the hours they are actually working.
It is the most common way people move a rental truck today, and it is the only kind of work we do.

If you are not sure what size truck or container you need, ask during your estimate. Crew leads size loads every week and will tell you honestly whether a 15-foot truck is enough or whether the extra five feet is worth it.
